The Washtenaw 100’s Board was honored to enjoy the contributions of these two outstanding citizens, who retired from our Board at the end of 2020:
Robert Brewster
Bob served on the W100 Board for more than six years. For many years, he was the Human Resources manager at the Ford Rawsonville plant. Bob officially retired from Ford in 2017, but after taking five months off, he’s now on his seventh interim Ford assignment, as the HR manager at the Woodhaven plant. While on the W100 Board, Bob focused on rewriting the Club’s by-laws. He also served on our Scholarship Committee with our other retiring board member:
Michael Rein
Mike has been a W100 member since 2007. He served three consecutive three-year terms on our Board, beginning in 2011. He has been our Board’s Vice-Chair, Board Chair, and Past Chair. Mike is the Associate Director of Community Relations at the University of Michigan, focusing on state outreach. Before joining U-M in 2011, he was, for nearly 24 years, a founder and partner in Bowers + Rein, a firm practicing architecture, planning, interior design, and landscape architecture.
