Provide immediate funding to the families of Washtenaw County law enforcement or fire fighting personnel who are killed in the line of duty.
	Further the education of children of law enforcement and fire fighting personnel in Washtenaw County through scholarship funds.
	Analyze and support the emotional and material needs of families of law enforcement and fire fighting personnel who are killed in the line of duty.
	Entertain special equipment need requests of law enforcement and fire fighting departments and assist in fulfilling the needs wherever possible.
